 甚麼是劍橋小學英語考試(YLE)?
劍橋小學英語考試(YLE)是可靠和持續的英語水平測試，能有效地評估考生在英語聆聽、會話、閱讀和寫作方面的能力。考試時透過生動有趣的圖畫，讓考生真正體驗運用外語溝通的樂趣。每位參加考試的考生均獲發證書，考生每部分的表現會以盾牌的多寡顯示。
劍橋小學英語考試分為第一級(Starters)、第二級(Movers)和第三級(Flyers)，學生只需在考試當日年滿五歲，而又被評為適合應考，便可以報考第一級 (Starters)。



考生考取第三級(Flyers)證書後，可以嘗試報考更高級別的英語水平測試，例如劍橋主要級別試第一級(KET)或第二級(PET)。KET及PET都是評估實用英語能力的考試，取得相關資格對日後升學有很大的幫助。

建議報考年齡：
Starters 年滿4歲或以上的學生 一般就讀幼兒高班至小學二年級
Movers 5至8歲的學生 一般就讀幼兒高班至小學二至三年級 或 已完成Starters並獲得13盾成績 
Flyers 6至10歲的學生 一般就讀小學一至四年級 或 已完成Movers並獲得13盾成績
To have a good start in learning English, we introduce the intensive course that prepares students for the University of Cambridge’s starters test. It serves as a pre-exam practice and a self-assessment for students to enhance their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.

Authorised exam centres will nominate preparation centres which meet the criteria to the regional offices. Once the nomination is accepted, regional offices will send the certificate to authorised exam centres to sign and distribute to their preparation centres.
